Hi, my name is Heather. I am the Midnight Baker.
My passion is cake making! I am so lucky to be able to make people happy by doing what I love the most – creating cakes.
I produced my first ‘cake’ when I was 4 years old, using a kilo of sugar, flour and a dozen eggs. I didn’t know how to make a cake but I knew I wanted to make something special for a friend. So special but so very inedible!
I am glad to say my cake making is rather different these days. My preference is to use natural, good quality ingredients so that the cakes have the best possible taste.
To look at my work, please review the galleries in the website, all my cakes are shown there. The galleries show cakes for special occasions, novelty cakes, cakes for children’s events and a variety of cupcakes.

My business kitchen has been inspected by the relevant authorities and awarded a food hygiene certificate (Level 5) – click here for certificate. I also have a Level 2 Food Safety Hygiene certificate and my business is fully insured.
